It is a textile company started by Mr. Sushil Kumar Poddar in the year 1995; since its origin it is specialized in the production of "Haute Couture" and "Prèt à Porter" fabrics, scarves, ties, bags, throws and pareos.

The company is located in Kolkata, and employs about 350 people. We produce fabrics and accessories using the most valuable and superior fibers such as wool, cashmere, silk, linen, cotton and also Viscose, Satin, Rayon & Polyester.All our products are designed for exports to Italy, Holland, France, Belgium, UK, Australia, Germany and United States.

When the company was first started in the year 1995, the exports were mainly for Bedcovers. The raw materials were purchased from the local markets and then manufactured into finish products by specialized manufacturers on job work contracts. In the year 2000 the company set up its own unit for stitching Bedcovers and started manufacturing fabrics on its own looms. The no. of looms doubled in the year 2001 and since then we have about 40 looms added every year which is now able to satisfy any production requirements.

We have recruited a team of the qualified members for fabricating our range as per the client’s requirements. Our Designers, Craftsmen, Quality controllers, Marketing representatives, Warehouse In charges, Packaging In charge, Administrators, Managers and Skilled workforce are capable to understand the market demand and try to satisfy our international clients. Supported by this managing and technical staff and by all the staff in charge of the production, Dream Exports is today capable of giving its clients the best products at any time. We intend to make Dream Exports the best in product and quality and to make this happen our C.E.O. Mr. Sudarshan Poddar is personally involved and makes sure the smooth running of our company at all levels of Business. We treat our clients like a family and we assure that they get the best.
